A 4-year-old in Melvin Douglas Toms’ supervision had cocaine in his system, according to WCNC. Toms was arrested for trafficking and manufacturing cocaine and selling or delivering cocaine to a minor, among other charges, according to the sheriff department’s website.

WCNC writes:

The charges stem from a routine probationer home check. Authorities say cocaine was found in the home, and the child was found to have cocaine in his body.

The child was not hospitalized.
