Looking at a recent vote, it makes you wonder if the members of the “Party of No” do, in fact, hate us. Check this out from the 9th Congressional District:

Find out how your representatives in Washington are voting by checking in with Congress.org. All you have to do is enter your zip code. It’s important information to look into, given an election is right around the corner.

What is the “Party of No”? They’re the members of Congress, mostly Republicans, who will vote “no” on anything President Obama or the Democrats are in favor of … like tax breaks for small businesses apparently (see above), health care reform, climate change legislation, the DREAM Act, etc, etc, etc.

I don’t think the reasons for voting no are as cut and dry as you make them out to be. Two of those three bills shown above involve more spending and add to the deficit. Healthcare reform has already passed. Climate change legislation is a joke and would also add more spending.
