It’s National Poetry Month, so poet and Pedestal Magazine founder John Amen and the folks at Carolina Actors Studio Theatre have teamed up for Salon Sundays. The event, which kicked off on Sunday and will continue on Sundays in April, brings poets, spoken word artists, slam masters and musicians together for an evening of word play. (Photos by Mert Jones)
