Led Zeppelin bassist John Paul Jones has come out to say that the band is still practicing and looking at finding a replacement for Robert Plant, who has said he has no plans to tour with the rock legends.

Jones said they have no plans to find a sound-alike to Plant. The band played one gig together last December that received rave reviews and hopes for a new tour.

My opinion — It’s not Led Zeppelin without the voice. Guns N Roses sounded great on its last tour because Axl Rose was providing the vocals. It’s much easier to reproduce guitar, bass and drum sounds than someone’s signature vocal style.

  1. No Zeppelin is not Zeppelin w/o Plant. But consider this.
    Europe got a full 1980 Zep tour.
    Europe also got the reunion show.
    Would Plant PLEASE consider 3 US shows.East, Midwest, West. I would love at least a chance to see them….maybe 1 last time

  2. Forget Plant. What a winer! He can have his twangy country music crap! Plant wasnt the only one to make Zep, what about Page & Jones. Why not tour without Plant. His loss! This would be the biggest thing in rock history. Hey we will never see Floyd again, why not Zep! Bring it on!
