Interns generally don’t get a lot of play, regardless of what industry they may be working in. Get the coffee. File these papers. Or here at Creative Loafing, input these event listings.

It takes a certain degree of humility to be a good intern, to work for someone else without getting paid. To deal with the crap of the higher-ups.

So it’s surprising to hear that infamously arrogant hip-hop artist Kanye West has announced plans to take time off from his music career and intern at a fashion house, preferably Louis Vuitton or Raf Simons.

Can Kanye handle being so low on the totem pole? Will he be able to refrain from peeing in inappropriate places?

I guess we can only wait and see.
