Actors Theatre of Charlotte brings its longtime holiday favorite and one-man show (starring Joe Rux), The Santaland Diaries, back to its stage for performances that start tonight and continue through Dec. 20. The production by David Sedaris; adapted by Joe Mantello; directed by Chip Decker takes a realistic approach on just how cheerful itd be (Not!) to work as Santas little helper during a shopping frenzy at Macys Santaland. A pissed-off elf, whose holiday spirit is as cold as ice, shares his own anecdotes and hostilities, about the season of merriment. For mature audiences. Tickets are $15-$20. Dates/times are as followed: Dec. 10-12, 8 p.m.; Dec. 13, 2:30 p.m.; Dec. 16-19, 8 p.m.; Dec. 20, 2:30 p.m. Actors Theatre of Charlotte is located at 650 E. Stonewall St. For more information, call 704-342-2251.
