Support the effort to improve conditions in Darfur by checking out Voices of Sudan — a new photo book by CL contributing photographer David Johnson. The book is available to order now at www.silentimages.org, and editions will be shipped in late June.

May 30: Showcasing the art of local painter Topher and the turntable skills of DJ Buddy, spinning a set of Latin funk and more.
June 6: The Atlanta-based producer/DJ known as Larmarrous pays the Q.C. a visit to spin a set of downtempo, rare grooves, afro-beat, Brazilian tunes and more.
Plus: A rotating menu of free edibles courtesy of Townsend’s Gourmet Cuisine (from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.), and a special “Blaxploitation” film fest running all night on the big screen.
