Got a golden ticket? Well, that’s OK if you don’t. You can buy a ticket (though it may or may not be golden) to watch as CPCC’s Summer Theatre stage performances of Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory — based on the film adaptation by Gene Wilder of Roald Dahl’s 1964 book. And don’t forget to pack a candy bar for afterward, just in case you get a sweet tooth at the show. Through July 11. $7-$10. 10 a.m. CPCC’s Halton Theater, 1206 Elizabeth Ave. 704-330-6534. http://tix.cpcc.edu/featured-performances/Will_Wonka.
