THURSDAY, OCT. 11 The Delaney Sisters may not have had the moves or the pipes to fill Bobcats Arena. But 103-year-old Sadie and her 101-year-old kid sister Bessie have the memories to spark a historic collaboration between Theatre Charlotte, celebrating its 80th anniversary, and the Afro-American Cultural Center. TC’s first Stage 501 show for the 2007-08 season, Having Our Say, brings the special charms and reminiscences of the Delaneys back to life. Nice way to celebrate the Delaneys’ history, Theatre Charlotte’s, and our own. 8 p.m. $10-$15. Afro-American Cultural Center, 401 N. Myers St. 704-372-1000. www.carolinatix.org/www.theatrecharlotte.org. (Tannenbaum)
