Artist Kesler Woodward may reside in Alaska, but he’s got Carolina ties. Woodward, who grew up in Aiken, S.C., graduated from Davidson College in 1973. Currently a professor of art emeritus at the University of Alaska in Fairbanks, Woodward’s latest works can be seen in a special solo exhibit (featuring the pictured acrylic on canvas “Nineteen”) at Christa Faut Gallery.
