THE REAL-LIFE BREAK-UP: A 46-year-old woman said she returned home after being out of town a few days to find her ex-boyfriend chilling in her apartment without her permission. He entered her home by breaking a bedroom window. The woman said they once lived in the apartment together, but she kicked him out after they recently broke-up. She said he didn’t steal anything, but he did eat up all her food.

CASE OF THE EX: A 28-year-old woman said she is fed up with her one-time friend. She said her friend has called her more than 200 times within a two-week period, harassing her and running up the daytime minutes on her cell phone. She said the woman is mad because she is currently dating her ex-boyfriend.

CRASH AND BURN: Instead of stealing a car or another easy to maneuver vehicle, a suspect entered a construction site on Archdale Drive and stole a huge piece of construction equipment to go on a joy ride. Not knowing how to operate the machine, the man immediately crashed, causing damage to other vehicles.

THE OLD SNATCH AND RUN: An 83-year-old woman was in the parking lot of her duplex when she was approached by a man asking her for directions. As she was giving him the directions, he grabbed her purse, jumped in his car and sped off. The woman said she felt duped.

READY TO RUMBLE: A 22-year-old woman said she was in a verbal altercation with another woman. During the argument, the woman’s friend fired a gun in her direction as a threat and then rammed her and began hitting her in the face with the gun. The woman said she was then struck on top of the head by a brass knuckled-clad hand. She was taken to University Hospital where she was treated for brass knuckle wounds to the head.
