Virgo The Virgin (Aug. 22-Sept. 22):
The new moon in your sign suggests it is almost time for you to open your doors, whether real or symbolic. You’ve spent a long time growing and perfecting a new way of being. You will have the opportunity by the end of October to spread your wings and fly with this creation.
For All Signs: The planet Saturn, ruler of the status quo, has been in Virgo for nearly three years. It will be moving into Libra in November. Saturn’s transit through a sign represents constriction, pulling back, and making things more efficient within the sign. Virgo’s domain is in the territory of sorting and organization, managing the details and routines of life and health. A great many of us have cleaned our closets and started important health routines. The U.S. health care delivery system has been under the gun for many months. Aspects this week suggest a proposal will be on the table. But there is a fly in the ointment. Agh! Mercury is retrograde! Decisions made on this topic at this time will require review, corrections and more review.
Aries: A relationship or new agreement, begun in June, now comes to a minor turning point. You may have some thoughts about going back to where you started, but at this time the situation calls for making an adjustment and moving forward. You don’t have enough information yet.
Taurus: Venus, your ruling planet, moves into the sector of life related to children, recreation and romance. The goddess of love is happy in this territory and often brings new energy and light wherever she goes. The news is good concerning travel, the law, and/or educational pursuits.
Gemini: There are fairly important issues to resolve concerning your primary relationship. In order to do this fully, it requires going in reverse to the point where things began to go wrong. This probably began somewhere in your family of origin and a belief system generated there.
Cancer: You have a fine opportunity to talk about your feelings with a partner or a sibling. It is a good time for you and another to review the past and come to a compatible meeting ground for the present time.
Leo: The Lion who does not let pride take over is given an opportunity to work that will keep body and soul together. If you are doing what is “proper,” the wolf at the backdoor will not get in. Stick to the rules for now and don’t rush into the new and exciting just yet.
Libra: A bit of R&R is in order. You are in need of some time for introspection and reflection. Although the Librans are fond of people activities, now is a good time for a relative withdrawal into the quiet.
Scorpio: You have the opportunity during this period to expand your career or life direction. You may also be experiencing gifts and benefits offered to you from others. This generosity in turn, is absorbed into your psyche and you want to share with those in your life who have been important.
Sagittarius: For 2009 you are crossing an era in which opportunities for travel are greater. Relationships with siblings, roommates and/or neighbors will be more rewarding and your overall daily attitude becomes more optimistic.
Capricorn: Aspects are favorable concerning education, the Internet and travel. You may be dealing with a contract of some kind. Be certain it says what you intend and that loopholes and fuzzy phrases do not blur the meaning later.
Aquarius: Old issues concerning the sharing of resources may be up for review again. “Shared resources” include partnership money, insurance benefits, investments or anything of value between you and another. The alternative to the material shared resources is the energy shared intimately.
Pisces: Surprise, independence and general rebellion are the qualities prominent this week. You may be the one who feels rebellious and wants to be left alone. If you have things on your mind regarding a relationship, they may fall right out of your mouth when you least expect it.
