Love is in the air with Davidson Community Players’ latest production, titled Almost, Maine. The play, which takes place in the mystical (and cold!) town of Almost, revolves around the love affairs of nine different couples — falling in and falling out of love. But don’t go thinking all negative. Though the show plows into the sometimes cold blunders of relationships, its central objective is to convey the joys they can bring, alongside the heartache, of course. Continues through Oct. 25. $15-$17. Oct. 15-17, 8 p.m.; Oct. 18, 2 p.m.; Oct. 22-24, 8 p.m.; Oct. 25, 2 p.m. Armour Street Theatre, 307 Armour St., Davidson. 704-892-7918. www.davidsoncommunityplayers.org.
