Girls night out, anyone? Blumenthal Performing Arts Center’s Girls Only: The Secret Comedy Of Women is taking what we all know as a night of female-oriented fun to a whole ‘nother level. The cast, comprised of two middle-aged women who look more like children than adults, use sketch comedy, improv, audience participation, songs and videos, for a comedy spread that will likely have men squirming and women in tears. According to the show’s description, it includes feminine subject matter ranging from breast feeding and menstrual cycles to menopause and maxi pads. Ladies, grab a gal pal, and men … you’ve been warned. Bonus: Save some moola with Gal Pals Fun Pack, group tickets which can be purchased to be used on all performances (except Friday and Saturday evenings) through June 30. Continues through Aug. 1. $34.50 and up. 7:30 p.m. Stage Door Theater, corner of 5th Street and College Street. 704-372-1000. www.blumenthalcenter.org.
