You’d pretty much have to be a stranger to Charlotte if you’ve never set foot in NoDa. One of the Q.C.’s major art hubs, thriving with galleries and regularly scheduled art crawls, the district is also known to have inspired many artists to bring those very scenes to life on canvas. During a group exhibition titled Lineage of NoDa at The Adam Ramsey Miller Gallery in Concord, you can see the outcome. Artists like Ruth Ava Lyons, Mike Bozart, Raed Al-Rawi, Jerry Lee Kirk, Rebecca Jones Clark, Alex Clark and others have come together to display their NoDa-related/created paintings and monoprints of various styles and themes. Exhibition continues through Aug. 13. The Adam Ramsey Miller Gallery, 21 Union St., Suite 200, Concord. 704-788-2326. www.thearmgallery.com.
