On MARCH 1, NODA’s Neighborhood Theatre will host a free showing of AN INCONVENIENT TRUTH. Consider this film, from director David Guggenheim, cold water in the face of a sleeping nation on the topic of global warming. It all goes public when in his 2000 election defeat, Al Gore shifts the world’s attention, as well as his campaign, to an irreversible damage that will occur if scientists fail to treat this wound in the world. As a recent advocate, his bold passion for opening eyes to a timely emergency reaches for a people that may not yet be so ready to move.   1. I am so disappointed when I hear people say that this is a partisan issue. I am a republican who cares about our world and wants to leave a wonderful home for future generations. Al Gore has shown how a loss can become a benefit. While, he is not my choice for president, I am grateful that he has produced this movie and hope that people see it for what it is. Fact.
