Over 30 events are scheduled for the six days and nights of CPCC ArtsFest. Throughout the week, there are lectures, exhibits, screenings, and book signings across the Central Piedmont Community College campus. You’ll find the biggies behind the colonnades of the Overcash Building at Halton Theater. Dr. Edward Hirsch keynotes Monday at 11:30 a.m. with a lecture/autographing on “How Poetry Serves As a Filter for Globalization” (Free), and folk music muse Judy Collins concertizes on March 29 at 7:30 p.m. ($30/$25). Cackalacky is back-y! Film festival winners will be screened on Tuesday at 1 p.m. (Free).
