And I’m tired of it too.
But I felt compelled to write this as I listened to her song “Take A Bow.”
In that song, Rihanna sounds like a confident, strong woman who doesn’t take any shit. She tells her cheating lover to get the hell out before she turns the sprinklers on and fucks up all of his clothes.
But in reality, Rihanna took back the manchild who allegedly hit her. Maybe her strong girl music is another reason why people were so up in arms about her allegedly going back to Brown.
What people fail to realize is that battered women often go back to their abusers, it’s just mostly done out of the glare of the media spotlight.

Perhaps you should listen to her song “Rehab” or “Disturbia” or “Breaking Dishes” or “S.O.S”.
“Take A Bow” doesn’t fit her current real-life image, but some of her others songs DO.
I should add, I do agree that Rihanna’s situation is only different because she has a billion people watching her every move. I feel for her.
