“Pure Pizza’s claim to fame is that it’s Charlotte’s only farm-to-fork pizzeria, boasting locally grown and organic ingredients.” Very cool, can you ask them to share the list of local farms that supply the flour, tomato, cheese, veggies and proteins they us to make the pizza.
Hey there ~ the farms we use are too long to list, but here are a few of the major ones: Lindly Mills for our organic grains, Bianco diNapoli for our organic low sodium sauce (not local b.c we can’t get organic tomatoes year round), Burnett Dairy for cheese (also not local b.c NC mozzarella is too cost prohibitive),Windcrest Farms – lettuce, herbs, strawberries, cucumbers, Rivendell – produce, Bosky Acres – feta/goat cheese, The Mushroom Guy, Wild Turkey Farms – pepperoni/chorizo, Dan the Pig Man – pork, chicken, smoked salmon, Barbee Farms – radishes, spinich, Vang Farm – basil, Puzzle Piece – produce, Rooster Hill – eggs, Homeland Creamery – half/half, The Meat & Fish Co – meat & fish.
That names a few! we have too many to list, but hopefully this gives you a good idea who we are supporting! Hope you come by ; >
