The Block ‘Em Sock ‘Em Rollers defeated the Cockpit Candies 92-66 at the Grady Cole Center on July 19 during the first match of this year’s intra-league championship of the Charlotte Roller Girls.

BoToxic Bruz’her left with an ankle injury in the third period — just evidence that the girls are out in full-force even when competing against themselves.

The next bout is on Aug. 9 with the Block’em Sock’em Rollers taking on the Fraid Knots.

  1. I was there at the Bout, and it was awesome! It was my first time ever attending a roller durby. Great job Block Em Sock Em! Rosie Cheeks is the MVP in my book. All the players did very good. I even got an autograph from Shrimp Lo Mean, she is one of my favorite players.
