The affects of the coronavirus shutdown are already in full swing as many companies begin to support demand by hiring remote workers. Companies that posted the most work-from-home jobs in April 2020 included K12, Cisco, Amazon and UnitedHealth.
Global Workplace Analytics estimates that 56% of the U.S. workforce holds a job that is compatible (at least partially) with remote work. Global Workplace believes, based on historical trends, that those who were working remotely before the pandemic, will increase their frequency after they are allowed to return to their offices.
