ATLANTA, GA (May 3, 2022) Encore Publications, based in Atlanta, Georgia, owned and published by Brantley Manderson, currently publishes Encore Atlanta, the performing arts magazine. This October, Encore Publications will expand and publish its second magazine, Encore Charlotte. The new publication will be distributed at the famed Blumenthal Performing Arts Center in Uptown Charlotte, North Carolina. Almost 20 touring Broadway productions are slated for the 2022-2023 season.

Manderson said, “Blumenthal Performing Arts is one of the country's top ten Broadway presenting markets. We can strengthen the Encore Publications brand communication within the performing arts community and raise audience awareness of Charlotte's many exciting creative events and exhibitions by providing this new publication. The community always wants to know what is happening on a local level – especially now more than ever as theater finally reemerges. Expanding to Charlotte, our neighboring city, allows Encore Publishing partners and advertisers to reach a larger audience with cross-over marketing.”

Encore Charlotte will be distributed at all touring Broadway shows beginning with the 2022-2023 season, which starts with Dear Evan Hansen. Content will cover program details, performer biographies, lifestyle features, highlights about restaurants and hospitality, popular and off-the-beaten-path travel spots, and local and regional artists and performers. Copies will be distributed by hand to the audiences at each performance which means tens of thousands of copies will be in circulation thanks to the outstanding team of ushers at the performing arts center.

Manderson has committed to engaging local, North Carolina-based writers to keep the created content authentic and from the heart. Encore Publications are more than a pastime before a show begins as audiences find the magazines a keepsake and collect the issues along the way.

Owner/Publisher Brantley Manderson has over 30 years of publishing experience. Most of them have been on national stages such as; National Geographic, TIME Magazine, Turner Broadcasting, and previous to Encore Atlanta, Director of Sales at Playbill Magazine. Manderson’s admiration and passion for the performing arts and her love of her home-based city, Atlanta’s community, naturally attracted her to expand the reach of Encore.
