The Olympics aren’t for everyone. As the summer games continue, some of us are reminded of how little we care about synchronized swimming, gymnastics and track & field competitions. But as these games continue, another separate set of games are being concocted.

Folks who favor food over sports might be interested in the upcoming IKA/Culinary Olympics. These kitchen-based games are slated to go down Oct. 22-25 in Erfurt, Germany. Competing in these action-packed culinary games is   American Culinary Federation’s Culinary Team USA, comprised of two Charlotte-based chefs. Corey Siegel, a corporate chef at Electrolux and Jason Hall, an executive chef at Myers Park Country Club will both be representing the Q.C. Cheers to that!
