Just went by Menchie’s (1/13 8 p.m.) — seems that they are “open” but customers are only welcome tonight by “invitation.” It’s a shame that they didn’t “invite” local Dilworth homeowners or business owners to their snotty private “soiree.” A shame to start a new business this way, particularly in a real neighborhood location like Dilworth. We will get in the car and drive to Dairy Queen instead!
LB: I think a misunderstanding occured. We did in fact hold a “soft” opening Friday night for friends and family that have deeply supported us through our opening process; however, NO ONE was turned away from street. In fact, all “walk-ups” were invited in for a free yogurt. Our hours were only from 6-8PM that evening, so no one, including our “invites” were served yogurt after 8PM. I do apologize if you were offended in any way, and I assure you if you come back to see us, you won’t be disappointed. Thank you.
