Singer Amy Winehouse, 27, was found dead in her apartment in London today, numerous news outlets are reporting. The singer had various troubles with rehab and substance abuse over the years and recently had a tumultuous performance in Europe after which her remaining concert dates were canceled.

It’s a sad story for a singer who now joins the “27 Club” with musicians such as Janis Joplin, Jimi Hendrix and Kurt Cobain as talented musicians and artists who died at age 27.
