And on the umpteenth day, music created another supergroup. This one’s called Chickenfoot, made up of Michael Anthony (ex-Van Halen), Sammy Hagar, Joe Satriani and Chad Smith (Red Hot Chili Peppers).
The band’s debut album is due on June 7. They came together as a result of jam sessions at Hagar’s Cabo Wabo. Listening, you can tell it’s definitely Hagar singing and there’s plenty of Satriani to go around.
