If it was 25 years ago, you’d see hundreds of people camped out in tents this weekend outside of Time Warner Cable Arena, competing with the throngs in town for the CIAA. However, those in tents would be waiting for the box office to open on Monday morning, March 5, at 10 a.m. That’s when tickets go on sale for Madonna’s 2012 tour which will bring her first Charlotte appearance on Nov. 15.
Reports that ticket prices could be as high as $300 for some seats aren’t exaggerated. Prices for the Charlotte show start at $57.65 and go up to $381.45.
People who buy tickets will get a physical or digital copy (their choice) of Madonna’s new album, MDNA, due in stores on March 26.
