WAXHAW, N.C.   — Throughout the day, on Wednesday, students spotted “The Elf on the Shelf” — who looked surprisingly similar to Principal Terry Vaughn.

It was all a part of the school’s “Dress as a Holiday Character” day, according to WSOC.
