While the weekly Wednesday night party Pop Life, brought to you by The Sol Kitchen, has had a number of homes – from Prevue in NoDa to its current venue RE:Public in Uptown – the party has maintained its hotness factor and continued to garner support from the masses.
So much so that on March 28, the shindig celebrates its six-year anniversary.
You have to hand it to the promoters: How many weekly parties do you know have stayed around for six years? And 99 percent of the time, it’s free admission, too? Madness. They must be doing something right.
