What is life without political commercials, titillating candidate debates and all your friends and family who find it absolutely necessary to update their Facebook status every 30 minutes with their opinion on Gov. Romney or President Obama? Well, North Carolina, we’re about to find out. Election Day is here, and if all goes according to plan (because it always does), we will know who’s in charge of what by day’s end.

I’ve corralled links to some useful websites, including Chris Rock’s message to white voters.

1. Find your polling place here.

2. Track results in North Carolina at the State Boar of Election’s unofficial results page.

3. CL‘s presidential endorsement and other endorsements

4. An interactive map from The New York Times called What Will Swing the Swing States and another that tracks the different ways each candidate could win.

Ana McKenzie is CL's news and culture editor. Born and raised in south Texas, she graduated from the University of Texas at Austin in 2010 and moved to Los Angeles to try to become a movie star (or a journalist)....
