THE ‘ARTHOUSE’ PRESENTS:

‘MAGICAL REALISM’

NEW PAINTINGS BY RAED AL RAWI, ALEX CLARK AND JERRY LEE KIRK

Gallery E, located inside the Arthouse, 3103 Cullman Avenue in Charlotte, will host ‘Magical Realism’, an exhibition of new paintings by Raed Al Rawi, Alex Clark and Jerry Lee Kirk.

The award-winning artists are longtime Charlotte favorites and friends. Each has played an integral part in the evolution of Charlotte’s art scene over the past decade and are known for the imaginative, narrative and often surrealistic images that they imbue their art with. The 3 artists have exhibited previously in group shows but this marks their first visit to the Arthouse. The title ‘Magical Realism’ is indicative of the type of work that each produces – paintings that are based on realism but take off into magical and visionary realms.
