The folks at ThinkProgress interviewed many NRA members at the weekend’s big convention Uptown. The progressive website reports that among the dozens of NRA members they spoke to, “many offered reasonable positions on issues that haven’t been widely publicized — such as closing the “terror gap” gun loophole and whether gun owners should be to allowed bring weapons into bars and consume alcohol.” But, the story continues, “the vast majority of NRA members ThinkProgress spoke with echoed the misinformed and extreme anti-Obama rhetoric espoused by right-wing heroes such as Sarah Palin, Newt Gingrich, Sean Hannity, Glenn Beck and other Fox News hosts.”

Frank Griffin has threatened me and talked down to me about my children and financial situation in the past on several occasions. I have told him more than once that if he ever stoof in front of me, I would slap his sorry face. That is not violence. Violence could be deemed as your illegal wars that your heros Bush and Cheney waged and what you and your Fox News psychos are trying to incite in white soccer moms across the country.

For the record, ‘Mr. Griffin’, I made the comment about all whites being at the NRA event, just like they are at all the republican events and rallies, and I am WHITE. I find this to be very revealing and has nothing to do with who is purchasing guns or using them. I was referring to the biased, partisan, political side of all of this, which seems to be all there is left.
