The Lion: (July 22 — Aug. 22)
Saturn is departing your sign, and it will be a relief. You have spent the past cycle working toward redefining who you want to become in the world. However you may have done it, the probability is that it was costly in more ways than one. You know how much you have grown and changed through this valuable education.
For All Signs: This week we have several major conjunctions of planets with Saturn in the sign of Leo. It is as though there is a farewell party for Saturn, who will be departing Leo at the beginning of September. (See last week’s article.) It is a notable cosmic event that it is changing signs, given that this planet has been in Leo for two-and-a-half years, Its presence in Leo was felt by each sign in its own way, and now the planets are passing through the end of Leo one by one. The combination resembles a graduation as each shakes hands with Saturn, the Teacher. Aries: You are completing an important period of creative development. You have been concentrating on the evolution of a part of yourself that wants to grow and be recognized. (It is also possible that you had a more literal baby.) Now you will be moving toward a time of apprenticeship in which you hone your new skills.
Taurus: The last three years have been focused on home, hearth and family. You may have had responsibility for elderly family friends or relatives. The time has been one in which you had to focus more attention on personal concerns than career and life development. The tide is changing. You can already feel it.
Gemini: Your creative works are on display, and others are impressed. Your attention will soon turn to making home, hearth and family more secure. Work in the world will become less important. You will want to clean out the clutter of your life.
Cancer: You are departing a three-year period in which you had concerns about money and resources, even if the problems were more related to the career structure than self. But you made a significant investment for the future, and now your resources will begin to return to you.
Virgo: For nearly three years you have been in the background. Your career or outer life was somehow moved to the sidelines. Many have chosen to spend the time in rest and restoration of the self. Some may have taken up a study that demanded withdrawal from the world at large. Emergence comes soon.
Libra: Many Librans are slipping out the backdoor of social or community obligations. Any activities of this type will have to have an inherent value, beyond the political, if you are to give them energy hereafter.
Scorpio: You have completed a period of mastery in career or life direction. Now you will be recognized for it. The community you have developed is a fine resource. Those who are literally promoted will learn quickly who is truly a friend.
Sagittarius: You may be completing a period of education and preparation for a new title in your career or life direction. If you love what you do, then you are on the verge of a leap ahead. If you are unhappy, then your doorway to change directions comes soon.
Capricorn: The recent Saturn cycle has taught you a lot about managing money and personal resources. You will soon shift in the direction of strengthening your philosophy. You will have ample opportunity to clarify what you believe about where you are headed.
Aquarius: Your partnership(s) and marriage have undergone trials by fire and water in the last three years. The overall “project” was to redefine why you needed the partnership and build the new foundation for the future. Some have chosen to leave previous relationships. Others have recreated their structure.
Pisces: The past three years has been a time of apprenticeship. You have honed your skills and your efficiency to as fine an art as you can create. In the next phase you will be given a new level of responsibility.
