Artist Miranda Lake’s solo show reflects on her recent travels to South Africa (*insert jealousy here*), as well as the inspirational subject matter she encounters on other soils. Lake believes, “There’s always some hidden treasure or visual treat waiting to be found; you just have to look.” The Animus exhibit at Hidell Brooks Gallery features Lake’s new works and old favorites, which have been formatted as archival pigment prints.
