The Virgin: (Aug. 22 — Sept. 22)
Your overall attitude is serious as you slip into this new relationship to Saturn (see lead paragraph). There are two individuals sniping at each other. One is pro security and the other is pro risk. You must mediate. If security vs. risk is your personal dilemma, look for an idea that is beyond the box which will house both.
For All Signs: Saturn has now firmly transitioned into Virgo, and it couldn’t have happened too soon. The overall milieu in every arena shifts toward practicality and efficiency. Grandiosity and excesses in any market will be curtailed. The mood of the public will increasingly favor sacrifice on behalf of the planetary environment. I project that September will mark a shift in direction for many of us. For individuals, ideas and plans that have been in neutral all summer will take on an energy of positive motion.
Aries: Your ego may be riled and your temper short at this time. Possible sources of the trouble include roommates, neighbors, siblings, vehicles and circumstances at work. Think before you spew. Speak if you must, but be clear about what the real issue is, and what you want to accomplish. Fight fairly.
Taurus: The title for this week could be something like “Mediation and fair communications.” Another title could be “The use of color to create pizazz in your life.” You have positive signals from Mercury, ruler of communications and Venus, goddess of romance, color, things of beauty. Go with it!
Gemini: An issue related to property or family comes between you and your Significant Other. It’s a hot potato because there is old history around this subject. You may be working on how each of you can maintain a sense of independence while also remaining invested in the relationship.
Cancer: You are continuing to chew on the issues presented by the recent eclipse cycle: concerns about aging people or property, worry over a sibling and challenges from a neighbor or loss of a roommate. You get a break from the anxiety in the form of preparations for travel and fun experiences with family.
Leo: You are beginning a new cycle of life, now that Saturn has moved out of your sign. You have a need to demonstrate your value and to focus attention on increasing your worth, financial or otherwise. This week you encounter a roadblock, which may be an inner quarrel about an issue of ethics or belief.
Libra: People are listening carefully to what you say. Somehow you pick the words they need to hear. If you are a counselor, a mediator or an attorney, you have the solution that fits like a glove. This time favors romance, social life and the arts. Your instincts are on target in every area.
Scorpio: An individual known in your circle, possibly a coworker, is setting up tension between you and one or more others. This smacks of the people game called “Let’s You and Him Fight.” Motivation: the instigator swoops in for rescue just before one of you smacks the other. This is probably unconscious.
Sagittarius: I see two threads this week. One of them could drive you into an ego battle over who is right and who is wrong. It is more theoretical than material. Is it worth it? The other development comes through a friend or acquaintance. This person helps you connect to a “right” person or situation who can help with legal, educational or travel matters.
Capricorn: This is your week to tiptoe into the water on a big idea. At minimum, start the research that will help you toward a solution. It will require some time anyway. It is possible that the world at large doesn’t yet understand the value of this project, but in less than a year important people will show interest.
Aquarius: Your rapid insight in matters financial serves you very well this week. You have the handle on “knowing when to hold ’em”. Travel, education, publishing and all legal interests are particularly favored now. You almost cannot lose.
Pisces: Your intuition is clearly on the mark. If a conflict develops between gut instinct and logic, go with the instinct. You may be better off to set aside any struggle of this type until you have time to be with it for awhile.
