How is light produced? Photographers and artists share a constant wonder for this grappling question. They’re curious about light transformations, especially those that result in their own creations. The Light Factory’s newest exhibition titled Into the Mystic explores these topics with featured works from Connie Sullivan, Heather D. Freeman, Kit Kube and Michael Wilson. Free. Monday-Saturday, 9 a.m.-6 p.m.; Sunday, 1 p.m.-6 p.m. September 14, 2008-January 4, 2009. The Light Factory (Knight Gallery), 345 N. College St. 704-333-9755. www.lightfactory.org.
