Spring has arrived and the whole “it’s cold” excuse used for not going outside on walks is over. In its fourth year, the annual Dogswalk Against Cancer lets you walk for a good cause. Hosted by The American Cancer Society the non-competitive walk raises awareness and funds for the fight against cancer in both humans and animals. For more information, visit www.dogswalkcharlotte.org. $20 registration fee (includes event T-shirt, goodies for your pet, breakfast from Salsarita’s Fresh Cantina and admission in the Easter bone hunt). 9 a.m. Canine Cafe Charlotte, 1447 S. Tryon St. 704-588-3647. www.k9treat.com.
