There’s something strangely exciting about wearing pajamas outside of the bedroom, like it’s forbidden or something. On July 2 at Closet Nightclub, folks are encouraged to dress in their nighttime best for Positive Pajama Party. And though comfy clothes and zzz’s go hand in hand, don’t even think about falling asleep. There will be enough entertainment to keep you wide awake, including a performance by comedian Dave Martin and more. Proceeds from the event are for a good cause and benefit Artists And Angels Against Aids/HIV outreach programs. For more information, visit www.artistsandangelsagainstaids.org. $5 donation requested before 10 p.m.; $10 after 10 p.m. Closet Nightclub, 1202 Charlottetowne Ave.
