Just thinking back to the confident way quarterback Delhomme led the Panthers into the Super Bowl last season, it’s hard to believe he was signed as an unrestricted free agent from the New Orleans Saints in March 2003. The sportsmanship, maturity and poise demonstrated by this 29-year-old make him a role model, for sure.
