Check out the Charlotte Squawks as they present yet another funny, stuffed-up comedy decongestant — that’d be Charlotte Squawks Pleads the Fifth. Made up of Mike Collins (WFAE Charlotte Talks — not Squawks — radio host), Brian Kahn, Keith Martin and a slew of other singers, dancers and actors from Charlotte and the surrounding area, this troupe is known for their musical rants about pop culture, health care, politics, sports and the Q.C. (this includes NASCAR junkies and a whole lot more). They’ve parodied a pile of well-known songs with their own lyrical laugh-your-ass off shenanigans. June 12-14. $24.50-$34.50. 8 p.m. McGlohon Theatre, 345 North College St. 704-372-1000. www.blumenthalcenter.org.
