The Chuckleheads, a Charlotte-based troupe bent on improv comedy is getting ready to celebrate. It’s the group’s first birthday and one year anniversary in the biz, so of course they’re celebrating with a show — Happy Birthday to Us Comedy Improv Variety Extravaganza. Jump into games like Whose Line Is It Anyway — or the group’s specialties “Whip It Out” and “Let Us Play.” You don’t have to understand it to play it — but you do need to know how to bobble … oops …I mean, chuckle. $5. 8 p.m. The Actor’s Theatre of Charlotte, 650 E. Stonewall St. 704-342-2251. www.actorstheatrecharlotte.org.
