Contemporary dance company, Momix is known for making illusionists out of its dancers. In Botanica, the latest blossoming addition to its repertoire, it goes all natural. The multimedia show — choreographed by Moses Pendleton — stems around fantasy-styled puppets, music, props and costumes, in addition to a cast firmly rooted in complex moves. The plant-based spectacle — coming to Knight Theater — takes viewers on a journey through a series of enchanting landscapes, representing the four seasons. $20 and up. Feb. 23, 7:30 p.m.; Feb. 25-26, 8 p.m.; Feb. 27, 1:30 p.m. Knight Theater, 430 S. Tryon St. 704-372-1000. www.blumenthalcenter.org.
