If you’re not out of town for Memorial Day, then you can attend the 6th Annual Huntersville Memorial Day Ceremony, presented by the Huntersville Parks and Recreation. Held at the popular Birkdale Village, the ceremony will be a time to remember and reflect on the military men and women who have served our country or are protecting it at the moment. Music will also make up the event with performances by the North Mecklenburg Community Chorus and buglers from Boy Scout Troop 19 of Huntersville Presbyterian Church. Free. 7 p.m. Birkdale Village, 8712 Lindholm, Suite 206. 704-895-8744. www.birkdalevillage.net.
