I start to salivate (yeah, I’m a food person in case you haven’t figured that out yet) when I see all the cuisine vendors that will make up the 14th Annual Festival of India 2008. Woodlands, Udipi, Bombay Cuisine, Maharani and other local eateries will bring their spiced up delights to tantalize your taste buds. If you love Indian food like me, then this is the ultimate way to go for a variety of food options. But, the festival isn’t all about the food. There will also be dancing, cultural exhibits and plenty more. Free entry into the event. $20 for 19 tokens; $10 for nine tokens; $5 for four tokens. 12 p.m.-7 p.m. Belk Theater, 130 N. Tryon St. www.indiafestival.net.
