The American Cancer Society’s Relay For Life is a time to participate in a walk that remembers those who have lost their lives to cancer or are in an ongoing battle with the disease. Dedication to this movement has made it the largest non-profit fundraising event. The Relay has spread worldwide and takes place in 19 other countries. So grab your friends and family and walk to the line. Finish with success by knowing you worked for a cure. Friday-Saturday. 6 p.m. E.E. Waddell High School, 7030 Nations Ford Rd. www.NCRelayForLife.org.
