Workshops, seminars, and exhibits — spread-eagled across the Center City — are just part of the excitement as members of the American Association of Community Theatres gather for AACTFest ’07. Beginning on Wednesday and continuing through Saturday, a dozen prize-winning productions from 10 regions across the United States and overseas will parade across the Belk Theater stage. The hourlong shows are presented in blocks of two. Broadway legends Terrence Mann and his Tony-nominated spouse Charlotte D’Amboise will be feted Friday at 6:30 p.m. during the AACT Endowment Tribute Dinner at Booth Playhouse. Wed-Sat, 1:15 p.m.; Wed-Thu, 7:30 p.m. Blocks – $15; Tribute – $25; all-festival pass – $60. 704-372-1000. www.aactfest07.com.
