The Charlotte Film Society’s Second Week Series continues today with two more acclaimed foreign titles. The French feature The Page Turner is a revenge yarn about a gifted young piano player who plots to get back at the famous concert pianist who inadvertently derailed her promising career. And 12:08 East of Bucharest, a Romanian import that earned two awards at the Cannes Film Festival, is a biting satire about a TV talk show host who invites a pair of men — a drunk teacher and a career Santa Claus — onto his live broadcast to discuss the 16th anniversary of their country’s revolution against Communism. Times & prices vary. Park Terrace Cinema, 4289 Park Rd. 704-523-9771. www.charlottefilmsociety.com.
