Want to hear great music and “get your learn on” in the meantime? The Neighborhood Theatre and Charlotte Friends of Live Earth will be holding a free event in coordination with the Live Earth music event. The event aims to raise awareness about global warming by having 24 hours of music across seven continents including performances by artists such as The Police, Dave Matthews Band, Kanye West, Jack Johnson, Smashing Pumpkins, Beastie Boys and more. The event begins at 5 p.m.; climate education will be held from 6 to 7 with concert streaming continuing from 7 to close. 4 p.m. Free.
