Most R&B fans remember the band Mint Condition as the unit behind the hit slow jam, “Breakin’ My Heart (Pretty Brown Eyes).” But, with more than seven albums under their belt, the men of Mint are much more that just one-hit wonders. These days the group doesn’t move millions of CDs, but — playing real instruments and belting out real vocals — they keep the almost-extinct tradition of the “R&B band” (i.e. the Gap Band, Kool & the Gang, the Time, etc.) alive and kicking. Impromptu concert tonight at Amos’ SouthEnd. Advance tickets are $30. Call 704-644-3853 or log on to www.charlottevibe.com
