The Charlotte Symphony soars (and I mean that quite literally) with its Belk Theater performances on April 30 and May 1. During Charlotte Symphony Pops: Cirque De La Symphonie, the symphony orchestra — playing classical masterpieces of contemporary music — will incorporate an addition to the show with onstage moves by talented acrobats. Albert-George Schram conducts. For more information, visit www.charlottesymphony.org. $20-$67. April 30-May 1, 8 p.m. Belk Theater, 130 N. Tryon St. 704-372-1000. www.blumenthalcenter.org.
